Taken with a Nikon Coolpix 990 and a FC-E8 Fisheye lens. Mounted on an simple L shaped bracket. 4 portrate frames taken 90 degrees apart with the fisheye circle just touching the top and bottom of the frame, while being clipped on the left and right. Stitched using PTGui/Panotools and seams removed using Enblend. Finally converted to a QTVR Cube using PanoCUBE and added QuickTime for the web's autorotation widget.

The completed image comprises of 12 shots taken with a Nikon D70 using the
stock lens at 18mm's, and a 2 second exposure. The images were then loaded
into the iLOOKabout One
step Pano Stitching Wizard. The resulting strip was then loaded into
Photoshop, made into a proper 360 strip (there was 100 pixels of overlap to
start). The image was padded to 2:1 ratio, and then converted to QuickTime
for WWP submission.

This image and those linked on The Other Choice page were each made from four horizontal exposures taken by a Nikon 8700 with FC-E9 fisheye adaptor on a home-made pano head and cheap tripod. Software included PTMac, Photoshop CS with Noise Ninja plug-in, and CubicConverter.
